		<description>Melvin should sit on his hands and do nothing, unless he starts now to remake this roster. If he can get a starting pitcher that will fit into next years plans, he should make that trade. Secondly, having Gamel and Esocobar up to play the remaining games still would make this team worth watching the rest of the season. It would certainly be more exciting then watching what is currently going on.</description>

I believe Doug Melvin realizes this, which is why he&#039;s reluctant to break the bank to find another arm.  But, for the reasons you mention, I&#039;m sure Mark Attanasio will keep up the pressure to make some kind of deal before the deadline.  Just don&#039;t expect it to be a major one.  Or to make a difference.</description>
