QUICK HIT: The Final Four

After all the wrangling about seeding and who got in and/or was left out of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, what we are left with is two #1 seeds, a #2 and a #3. In fact, the “Elite 8″ included nothing lower than a #3 seed. By my humble estimation, that’s a pretty good indication that the tournament selection committee got it right. It’s enough to make one wonder if something similar could be accomplished in the Bowl Championship Series of collegiate football.
