Sure Sign of Spring

Nothing gets me more excited for spring than spring football. Just kidding. Spring football begins this week for the Wisconsin Badgers. Last year’s disappointing season is surprisingly fresh in my mind and the program’s slow decline is in danger of picking up steam if something doesn’t change at the quarterback position. Here is a prediction, based in part upon gut feeling and in part on a tip from a little birdie that has begun frequenting my backyard bird feeder…the starting quarterback next season will have either “Phillips” or “Budmayr” written on the back of the jersey. Let’s see what happens…
