QUICK HIT: WTF??!!!!!!
I just read that the Green Bay Packers have tendered cornerback Jarrett Bush as a restricted free agent. What does the Packers front office/coaching staff see in this guy that is not apparent to anyone else? Or does he have incriminating photos of someone in a decision making capacity? It’s not like they have to protect their rights to him in fear of another team outbidding them for his services. And, if they do, so what? I’m not necessarily saying that Bush deserves all the bashing that he receives from fans but, as far as I can tell, he would qualify as someone most scouts would describe as “just a guy”. Certainly, the Packers could find a better way to spend $1 million than to keep this stiff. On the other hand, maybe there’s a silver lining in this for Packer fans as the team will have added incentive to cut him when, not if, he underperforms his contract.
