Wow, didn’t see that coming.  As I watched the games yesterday I really didn’t have any vested interest, although I suppose I was rooting for the Ravens due to the “Leonard Factor”.  The night game though between Carolina and Arizona I pretty much just figured the Panthers would take care of business, especially in light of their first possession, and that would be that.  Guess I was wrong.  Not only did the Cardinals win but in convincing style as well.  Warner once again looked like the 1999 edition, Delhomme lived up to the reason I hated him during the regular season when he was my fantasy QB and Fitzgerald made up for having Boldin on the sidelines.

Should the Eagles beat the Giants today that would mean the NFC Championship would take place in my alma mater’s stadium.  Maybe that in itself is reason enough for me to start getting interested in these guys.

This might sound like sour grapes, but any team who the Packers should have beaten, [Panthers,Titans] shouldn’t be in the championship game.

The Cardinals have been Norman Chad’s “Team of Destiny” for the last 4 years.

For some reason, last night’s Cardinals win reminded me of years ago when Michael Vick’s Falcons came into Lambeau and handed the Packers their first home playoff loss. It was a memory I could have done without.

And yes, Gary, it does sound like sour grapes.
